Really :( This is perfect for those of us who don't upgrade (srsly-- how many songs do you need, ppl.). Needed something to tape conversations with HR.

This is a very inexpensive accessory that improves the sound quality significantly. The Nano 5G has recording capabilities missing from earlier models but the quality of the microphone is not great.

If you are like me & numerous others that were duped into the purchase of this item thinking it was functional with iPod 2G (as is listed in the seller's item description), well then you should know that when you receive this product its packaging insert states that it is ONLY compatible with "iPod 4G, 3G, photo". Otherwise you will be stuck with an item you cannot use with your iPod 2G just like so many others of us. So BEWARE of the false product description by this seller. This product F8E462 is incorrectly advertised as to its iPod compatibility.

i am dissapointed because the info said that this product works with the ipod 2g nano, but in actuality it does not.

I would return it. Just a warning, it doesn't work with ipod nano at all.
