But, they worked just fine in all items I've used them in - nearly, if not as, comparable to any other "high-end, name-brand" batteries (at least as far as I've noticed).
until I saw that the price doubled to $15.72 and only sold by a 3rd party seller who's charging $9.20 for shipping.
Too bad.
I just came on here to order more.
For the price, it was a fantastic bargain.
Yes, they were the unexpected Pleomax(by Samsung) that arrived.
I would definitely recommend them and I'd order again & again, but only if the price came back down, and, either fulfilled or sold by Amazon.
I purchased these Samsung L3285WDPA3 Alkaline AAA Battery (28 Pack) for $7.82, w/ free amazon shipping last 2/09/09.
No complaints and I would buy them again. I have no way of measuring how long they last, but I seems they last as long as any big name battery.
I was hoping that I would get three quarters of the life that I get out of the name brand alkaline batteries and these actually perform a little better. The only other thing that I want to mention is that the prices seems to fluctuate here quite a bit. Other than that I am sure that I will be buying these again. I use lithium AAA's and AA's for the items that consume a lot of power and alkalines for the others. I use them in flashlights, hiking GPS units, small cameras, flashes, flashlights, the light for my Kindle, a laser pointer and more, all of which I carry with me when traveling (yes, TSA loves me). Murder). I would only purchase these when they are significantly lower in price than the sale price of Eveready's or Duracell's. I use A LOT of AA and AAA batteries and always travel with spares (have you ever seen the price of four AAA' alkaline at an airport.
And if you are on Prime, with free shipping, it beats spending the gas and your time to go buy something so mundane. You can't beat the price.
The picture shows samsung being on the box and batteries, but that is not what I got.Oh well, probably the same battery anyways, and got them before the price went up, so it was a godd deal. They work, so I had to at least give them a 4 out of 5, but I guess samsung makes them under the pleomax name now or something.
