Do you know if it's working with the Iphone 3GS and Iphone 4.Thanks. Hey Guys, looking forward to buy this article.
I paid $9.99 for the one from Staples and would happily pay that price again for some speakers that I don't always need to have plugged into a power source. This considerably decreases its value, in my opinion, because there are somewhat similarly priced (and with similar performance) speakers that have an internal battery which can be charged via USB and later used without a connection to an external power source for as long as the charge is held, which turns out to be quite long for the nice little compact speakers I got from Staples. Besides, the world needs to reduce its dependence on battery power, they are not the "greenest" things around. I don't dare use batteries, because that seems like a waste of money unless I can put my hands on 4 AAA rechargeables (which, by the way, they might have indicated you would need in the description) lying around unused. These speakers need to be connected to a USB port (or electrical outlet via an adaptor I presume) or have AAA batteries installed in order to work.
Going directly into the garbage. Not even worth the $1.39 (plus shipping) that I paid for it. Absolutely worthless; sound is barely audible.
They fold up into a little cube for packing. Earphones are a pain unless I am driving. The sound quality is superb for such a small device. Now I can have this little unit plugged in for audio and power to the desktop with it perfectly nestled under the LCD, and listen to stuff that I had to use earphones for previously. They are very well designed and to my tastes attractive while on display. Get some while you can.
I have one desktop computer without speakers. I'm ordering two more.
I just received two of these. I have wanted an easy way to listen to my iPod Nano while doing other things, like working on my bonsai collection in the garden.
Music even sounds great on these little speakers. They are well built and can plug into any "headphone" output of desktop, laptop, netbook, iPod.
I tried to stream podcasts from my netbook, but the built in speakers were woefully weak, and the form factor was a pain to have to move around. The controls and plugs are easily accessible and easy to use.
You see, I already have two sets of speakers connected to other computers in the same work area for high quality sound should I ever need it. For the money, this is the best technology imaginable.
1 had only 1 speaker working. 1 fell apart right out of the packaging. The first 1 worked exceptionally well. 1 didnt work at all. 1 the sound was distorted. I've bought 5 of these speaker sets at extremely discounted prices.
