Not much bigger than the iPod screen itself just more convenient and cool. It does was it supposed to, but instead of a huge screen in front of you it's more like a 40" screen ten feet away.
I have had this product for about two years now. Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2FEAOUCZAAAKE This is a video where I talk about how I use the my-vu as well as how I rigged it to fit my spare glasses and some other things I like about it.
Or try one of the other Video Glassies. And it gives the person watching it a bad headaic.Save your money. You have to look at the screen cross eyed.
Plus I wear glasses and that makes wearing them a hassle. A serious adult that likes technology will be disappointed. Horribly small. The screen is tiny. The sound is loud and proud and can go real loud. I dont recommend them unless you wanna give them to your kid. Like my description says, great audio.
When I received them I was disappointed to find that it only came with a cable for an i-pod, no AV cables. Lastly, the see through display is like watching a t.v. I attempted to cover the front to simulate a virtual reality display but it appeared as if I was looking at my computer screen across the room with the lights off. Of course you could buy all the extra adapters that come standard with most video head displays. Also no power charge only USB which would make it quite difficult to charge while on the go. I decided to give them a shot considering the price. across the room. 1st of all this product does not fall under the category of a virtual reality head display.
