she loves them, they look great and are the right size for her little earlobes. These were the perfect birthday present for my 8 year old daughter.
Usually my ears are fine with sterling silver, so what are these made from I wonder. These earrings made the skin in my ears react as they generally do to lower grade metals (nickel) and non-hypo-allergenic earrings.
The dye job is poor and I could never wear the brown ones bc the pearls came off the post. I recommend these for a child instead. They are glued on and small in size. They've help up great but beware that they are not the best quality.
The peacock looks more dark green than blue and the chocolate is more like a dark copper. I wear them often. I was a little disappointed in the color of some. The backs fit nice and snug. They a good size for every day wear and they look nice. But over all they are a very good buy. I really like these earrings.
I may buy the bracelet set next. Would have preferred a box instead of pouch. For the price, these are great "everyday" pearls for anyone or "starter" pearls for a teen. She feels like she got a beautiful "grown-up" present, and I don't worry if she loses an earring because I didn't spend a TON of money. I gave them to my 14 year old niece as a graduation present. I only gave 4 stars because I think packaging could be a bit nicer. These are perfectly lovely pearl stud earrings.
