No email was received. I called customer service and they told me I would recieve an email with return instructions. Regarding the clips they are not very well constructed. I've made several attempts to contact them and no response. The clips arrived in good time, however one of the clips had a broken part.
I didn't know there were corrective lenses for the MyVu unit available, which I immediately purchased. If he wears his contacts without the corrective lenses, it's slightly blury, but OK. You may be able to see it OK if you wear contacts. But the "-" is meant for NEARsighted people.being farsighted, the corrective lenses didn't help. The glasses come in -2, -4 and a pair that you can customize. But he wears glasses, farsighted with bifocals, so he couldn't see the picture clearly. Unfortunately, there is NO sharpness adjustment on this device, which I find suprising compared to their competitors.so if you have trouble seeing close up, you still won't be able to see it clearly with the lenses provided - you'll have to get a pair custom-made. I bought these for my husband for his birthday.he was so excited.
Very satisfied that I can now watch with everything in focus. Item was as advertised and shipped super fast. Glasses clip securely into media viewer and don't move a bit.
I found that by slightly bending the frame out at the ends and IN at the center aligned the LCD and internal optics to near perfect focus without the need for corrective lenses. Try one eye view at a time.if moving the frame clears up image in that eye,it could be LCD alignment problems. There is in fact more of a problem with frame or LCD element alignment than with optics. I found that although I use reading glasses(1.75X),the lenses were not needed. If only the elememts could be permanantly adjusted the problem of focus and eye fatique would be cured. This is a very reasonable price IF you need them.a third "blank" set is included to "custom " or perscription fit.
