So I wasn't sure this would work with iphone 4 but it worked for me. This is not made for a tv, it only works with iphone/ipod. Now I don't have to carry both an ipod and the iphone if I want to use the myvu glasses.Ignore the reviewer that couldn't get it to work with a tv. The product description isn't clear and the box says it's made for iphone and iphone 3g.
Maybe I just got a bad one. We'll soon see. The box claims that it works with my equipment. I have the OEM version with the integral charger but that is so clunky- I hoped this would reduce the clutter. I plugged it into my 3G iTouch (32gig version); no joy. I have a request in for exchange. I plugged it into my 5G iPod; no joy.
I had it returned with no problems at all. All too no success. I tried using my iPod, iphone3g and my other iPhone 3gs. When I tried to use it, the video that came out was ghost images. Just wish they would of told me why the cable was faulty. I bought this cable a month ago to try with my iPhone and a small tv that I had purchased.
The glasses are great if you don't wear glassses. This company takes returns and processes them very quickly. This product can not be worn over prescription glasses.
I purchased this cable to work with my new MyVu specs and my new IPOD Touch.Just came back from 2 weeks on the road and what a difference it makes to be able to watch all my content like a studio screen.
